Founded in 2017, we are a local community of advanced practice providers open to nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, certified nurse midwives, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and clinical nurse specialists. Our goal is to provide a means for networking and collaboration, as well as facilitate further education of current and future advanced practice providers, to ultimately optimize the unique care that we provide to our patients and community.

Reinforcing our Commitment

We hold meetings throughout the year to update our members on current events, meet new or prospective members, and network with our wide variety of Advanced Practice Providers. There is an education portion of the meeting provided by local area providers in order to broaden our knowledge and skills to better provide for our patients.

Developing Future Essential Workers

At Advanced Practice Providers of Brevard, we are dedicated to our community. Local high schools with Patient Care Assistant programs educate students to become Certified Nursing Assistants. Through our APP Scholarship program, chosen recipients receive the funds to be able to complete the program. We believe in fostering this stepping stone to build future Advanced Practice Providers.

Astronaut High School’s Cleundra (Cece) Cooley is the first recipient of our scholarship presented Fall 2020.

In 2021, our inaugural Rose Hitson Hope Scholarship Golf Tournament helped raise enough money to provide $10,000 in scholarships! $5000 went to each Astronaut and Titusville High Schools.

To date, we have provided $40,500 in total scholarships to AHS and THS with your support! THANK YOU!

Hope for North Brevard

We are happy to announce Advanced Practice Providers of Brevard has partnered with Hope for North Brevard. The mission of Hope for North Brevard, Inc. is to be “a catalyst for restoring hope and unity to youth and families in our community”. Hope for North Brevard supports Youth Services, Counseling Center, and Community Development. We hope to further build our organization through this partnership and support each other in order to better serve our community. We were able to support summer youth programs raising $7000 in to date from our APP Scholarship Golf Tournament.
